Going on a jet plane.

Welcome to Life with the Lyons 2.0.  I enjoy blogging and keeping everyone updated but I do not enjoy the background stuff like "your account is full".  So I avoid it and start another blog.

The last six weeks have consisted of two weeks in Ohio, a trip to Seattle, Birch Bay for Thanksgiving, and a wonderful wedding and all of it's festivities.  Today is the first day I have been able to sit down and figure you my blogger hiccup.
I will be updating in order of events (to make it more enjoyable for us when we look back in twenty years).  So pics of the house, yes we moved, will come later.
Here we go!  Avery's first plane ride.  Spokane to Denver.  Then Denver to Akron.  She did great.  It was the pilots intercom and the slamming of overhead bins that brought on the fussiness.  She slept most of the time and made other passengers smile after she smiled at them.
Grandma Nano enjoying some Avery time right after we arrived.
We headed to Dad's house for the first half of the week.  Saturday night was time with great grandpa and grandma.

Cheryl gets one of the few cuddles Avery hands out.  Cuddling is not her favorite thing to do!

Above Avery and Grandpa figuring each other out.  Great Aunt Annie giving some love to Aves.

Great Aunts and cousins enjoying some play time.  Below, we visited the Fosters.  Their little girl is precious and enjoyed showing Avery how to clap.
Monday morning was zoo time.  Ashley, Owen, Grandma, and the three of us headed to the Akron Zoo.  I was surprised at Avery's focus and awareness of the exotic animals.

The second half of the week was spent at mom's house.
Above Grandpa Dano jokes with a tough crowd.  Avery got a kick out of Uncle David's whiskers.

The guys with their better halves.

Dan and I snuck away for a couple hours for a little golf.  It was a beautiful day and the course was ours.

We had a great time.  It was good for Avery to meet everyone she did.  We can't wait to go back sometime next summer.   Next up,  Thanksgiving in Birch Bay.
